My Dashboard Reporting

My Dashboard is a customizable report that allows the member to view charts and metrics for multiple projects in a single location.  This report is targeted to individuals responsible for multiple projects and/or teams (i.e. ScrumMasters, Managers, Directors, etc).  The  top section of this report holds a grid to display key metrics and can be filtered to show a subset of the projects. The lower section of this report can be configured to hold various charts (i.e. Project Burndown, Sprint Burndown, etc) to monitor the progress of specific projects.  Not only can these charts be pinned to a specific project, but depending on the chart they can also be pinned to a specific sprint/iteration and/or team.  Finally, these charts can be renamed and rearranged to customize the look for an individual user.

Build Integration

CruiseControl.NET build integration provides visibility into the stories and defects included in each build.  From a story perspective, build integration indicates which build contains work towards completing a story and which build contains the completed story.  From a defect perspective, build integration indicates the build where a defect is found and where the defect is fixed.   This visibility is exposed in a Build Contents report which shows a) which defects are fixed, b) which stories are complete and c) any new defects introduced, but not resolved.  This report is valuable for selecting a build to release and for creating release notes that summarize work completed for a release.

For more information on this and other open source integrations, see the Integration Overview page.

Testboard

A new Testboard allows quick visibility and drag-and-drop tracking of test status in the same manner as done for Tasks on the Taskboard. Link directly to Testing reports from this new tracking page as well.

Multi-Select Ranking

Rank multiple items at once by using a multi-select option with the ability to move items directly to the top or bottom of a filtered list, a project or a set of projects. Multi-select Ranking is available everywhere the current drag and drop capability exists.

Miscellaneous Updates

  • An open source Effort reporting tool allows you to export effort records from V1 into a flat SQL server table and report on effort rolled up across many different attributes, including task, test, story, story type, defect, theme, epic, project, iteration, and team.
  • Release Burndown and Release Estimate Trend reports have been added to the Release Scheduling page
  • An option to show/hide weekends on the Burndown and other daily reports has been added; the default has been changed to hide weekends (Saturday and Sunday) in these daily views
