Notifications, Messaging and Announcements
For select assets in the system, member can proactively alert other teammates or colleagues in order to raise awareness about the asset. Each message contains a link to the affected asset providing the receiver context and quick navigation. Furthermore, if a member’s role on a project is Project Admin or System Admin, they can a send general message to all members in the system.
Subscriptions have been improved to include a Team filter and to allow members to receive notification when someone responds to their discussion post. Additionally, members may now watch a specific asset for changes to core fields.
In addition to RSS feeds, members may choose to receive notifications via email and in the application from the My Notifications page. Members may also choose receive visual alerts in the application when a notification arrives.
Proactive notification is available on Stories, Defects, Request, Issues, Goals, Themes, Epics, Retrospectives, Templates, Task, and Test.
Threaded Discussions
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders while saving the valuable history through threaded discussions. Direct links to the discussions from the main pages in the application and from hover popups allow users to see where the discussions are taking place and access them directly to view or participate. Users can reply to any existing discussion entry or start a new thread on the item.
Discussions are available on all assets in the applications, from projects and iterations/sprints all the way down to detailed feature discussions. In addition, any one item can have multiple discussion threads going at any time. For customers who upgrade from a prior release, all existing Notes will be converted to and accessible within the new Discussion framework.
PDF & Print Views
Save graphs to a standard .pdf format to easily print, archive, or email to others. A Print option also allows direct printing of the graph using a print-optimized layout that removes menus and left navigation bar items.
