V1:Agile Ideas (product Add-On)
ideas overview
Collaborate with your customers to identify and explore their top feature ideas using V1:Agile Ideas, a separate product add-on that requires V1:Agile Enterprise Spring '09 or later. (Contact your sales representative to get started with your system). This on-demand system allows your customers to sign up, submit ideas, collaborate and vote on what is most important to them. A tight integration with your Enterprise system, whether on-demand or on-premise, allows internal customers/product owners to moderate the forums, generate new stories (backlog items) or requests directly from these ideas, and close the loop with the community via status updates on the ideas.
ideas administration
System Administrators can connect your existing Enterprise system to an Ideas system and use a security setting to identify the specific internal customers/product owners in the Enterprise system who will manage the Ideas. These internal customers can create as many forums as needed to collect input for the various projects in V1:Enterprise. Forums can be open to the general public, limited to one or more domains (e.g. our company only) and/or a specific set of individuals (e.g. a customer advisory board).
Single Sign-On
Configure the application's authentication to utilize your single signon environment. Enable single sign-on through a simple config file switch. This option works with popular packages such as IBM's Tivoli Access Manager and CA's Siteminder that can pass the user's identity to VersionOne in the host headers.
ClearQuest
ClearQuest Integration
The VersionOne ClearQuest Integration provides a two-way flow of information. Defects that are collected in ClearQuest can be assigned to VersionOne as a Defect for planning and tracking within the iteration/sprint. When the VersionOne defect has been closed, the ClearQuest Defect is updated to reflect the completion.
Team City Integration
TeamCity build integration provides visibility into the stories and defects included in each build. From a story perspective, build integration indicates which build contains work towards completing a story and which build contains the completed story. From a defect perspective, build integration indicates the build where a defect is found and where the defect is fixed. This visibility is exposed in a Build Contents report which shows a) which defects are fixed, b) which stories are complete and c) any new defects introduced, but not resolved. This report is valuable for selecting a build to release and for creating release notes that summarize work completed for a release.
Automated QA Integration
The VersionOne TestComplete Integration imports test results from TestComplete into VersionOne, making the latest test results more visible across the an organization. The results can be recorded at two different levels of granularity—project and test. The aggregate results for a suite of tests in TestCompete can be linked to a project in VersionOne, so that everyone can see the health of their project from a testing standpoint from within VersionOne. The results of an individual TestComplete acceptance test can be linked to a Test in VersionOne, so that development team members receive quick feedback on which tests are passing and failing.
