Release Highlights
Performance Improvements
In this release, we’ve improved user performance in several key areas. The scope of the improvement is dependent on both the complexity of your data and the size of your database:
- Epic, Release, Iteration, and Theme/Feature Group planning pages are, on average, 2x faster
- Board View (Story Board, Task Board, Test Board) responsiveness as much as doubled in instances with complex board configurations.
- Project Navigator performance in IE8 and IE7 is up to 500% faster when displaying very large project trees
Analytics Enhancements
Customers using Ultimate Edition will appreciate improved reporting flexibility. If you haven’t used the Treemap report - check it out. It’s a great way to convey data visually.
- Create reports combining both Estimates and Project Actual data
- New configurable (and printable) Treemap dashboard panel and report
Buy a Feature Integration
Which feature will entice customers to purchase your product? Which feature will cause customers to upgrade? Buy a Feature (from The Innovation Games® Company) improves the quality of these decisions by asking your customers to help you make them.
- Create a new game using a configurable set of stories from within VersionOne
- Play Buy a Feature with your ultimate end users - run multiple games if necessary
- Aggregate results Returned from multiple games to VersionOne to help justify prioritization decisions
Additional Data Mart, Usability and performance improvements are described in the detailed release notes. | 12/1/2011 8:56 AM | |
