The Summer Release features product roadmapping, project workspaces and a new Salesforce.com integration, CaseConnect. The latest product features were developed based on your feedback, and provide usability improvements that continue VersionOne’s tradition of innovation in the agile management space. - Product Roadmapping — Allows you to define, manage and visually communicate your product strategy using a drag-and-drop roadmapping capability in combination with agile project management. Watch the Product Roadmapping video.
- Project Workspaces — Provides you with the ability to customize their systems, project-by-project to support specific teams, processes and workflows. Project workspaces support unique process configurations for teams of varying maturity without sacrificing visibility, reporting and analytics across the portfolio. - Salesforce.com CaseConnect — VersionOne customers can automatically generate defects in VersionOne based on cases in Salesforce.com. Information is shared bi-directionally as the defect is fixed with optional updates directly back to the customer. Watch the Salesforce.com CaseConnect video.
- Custom Reporting & Analytics Improvements — Delivers additional support for program-level reporting and improves report distribution capabilities.

In this release, we’ve focused on usability enhancements for Blocking Issues and Multi-select Ranking. These improvements will help you identify and mitigate impediments that reduce your projects’ velocity and help with “large list” prioritization. We’ve also delivered support for two additional browsers; Chrome and Safari.
Calling all fans of task-focused programming! Integration with Tasktop is now available with any Tasktop-enabled Eclipse-based IDE. This integration provides a rich client interface with offline access to VersionOne stories, defects and tasks. See below for details.

Headlining the release is our new, comprehensive data analysis and custom reporting platform. Agile Analytics provides teams and stakeholders unparalleled visibility into their development process. We’ve also added a new set of integrated Regression Testing tools for creating, organizing and tracking Regression Test Plans, Suites and Test Sets. All you Hudson fans can also download the new, free Hudson integration connector.
With this release we introduced a new edition of VersionOne, the Ultimate Edition, which includes all the functionality of the core Enterprise Edition plus Ideas Management, Regression Testing and Agile Analytics. Current Enterprise Edition customers can upgrade to the Winter ‘10 release with Regression Testing included at no additional cost. Our Fall ’09 release is now available. Our new agile data mart extends reporting options and visibility beyond the standard, pre-defined best-practices reports and dashboards currently available.
Leveraging third-party reporting tools, teams can now define the specific data they'd like to analyze, providing deeper business insight to stakeholders throughout the organization. Also included in the release are significantly enhanced Visual Studio and Eclipse connectors and improved management capabilities for Ideas administrators.
