Option 2. Drag and drop on Timeline layout

  1. From the main menu, click Portfolio > Roadmaps.

  2. If not already selected, choose a project from the Project Navigator.

  3. Click on the Timeline LayoutTimeline.png layout.

  4. Select the item you wish to change. Drag the item and drop it on the new date.

  • Using either layout to drag or drop modifies the Planned Begin and Planned End dates on the portfolio item.

  • To return to the default project/release dates, you must edit the portfolio item and clear the Planned Begin date and Planned End date fields (see Option 2).

Option 3. Change the dates on Portfolio Item's detail page

  1. From the main menu, click Portfolio > Roadmaps.

  2. If not already selected, choose a project from the Project Navigator.

  3. Click Layout LayoutTimeline.png (Timeline) or LayoutBoard.png (Board).

  4. Click on a portfolio item to open the details page.

  5. Click Edit and scroll to the Planned Begin and Planned End date fields.

  6. Select the desired dates from the pop-up calendar.

These dates will override any dates inherited from the parent project.

Option 4. Assign Portfolio Item to a new Release

If no Planned Begin and Planned End dates are assigned directly to the portfolio item, the date range on the roadmap is determined by the dates of the project to which the portfolio item is assigned. From the Release Scheduling page, you can move such a portfolio item to a new release and the new position on the roadmap is automatically displayed.
