Roadmap Enhancements
Continuing with the theme of usability we have expanded the capability of the Roadmap Time to include the capability of expanding more than one portfolio item at a time. Previously only one portfolio could be expanded. Child portfolio items can also be expanded as well on the timeline view.
Project and Milestone titles are now available without a hover via a toggle on the Roadmap Timeline. This is especially useful for screenshots or other times when hovering is not ideal.
Portfolio Item Templates
Lifecycle has supported story templates and defect templates for quite some time. Organizations also have the need for portfolio item templates as well for instance in regulated industries ensuring all the proper tests are on a portfolio item. Another example is an organization practicing SAFe can now have their portfolio item templates setup for PI planning or other strategic planning.
Continuum: Higher Availability
Continuum is getting better under the hood. The Continuum core server no longer needs to be installed in the same network as the systems Continuum integrates with. Continuum ‘core’ can now be hosted in your private (or public) cloud, and the Continuum ‘worker’ can be installed in a secure location with access to your DevOps tools.
Continuum: Database Replication Support
Further improving our High Availability support, Continuum now supports database Replica Sets. When activated, Continuum’s database can be separated into multiple servers (in different data centers) with real-time replication enabled. If one server or data center goes down, Continuum will happily keep on trucking by automatically failing over to one of the other databases in the set. Included in this is official support for MongoDB 3.6.
Continuum: Better Filtering on Progressions and Insights
The two most commonly used dashboards in Continuum - Progressions and Insights - now have better filtering behaviors. Filters are visible at higher screen resolution, and tuck away on smaller screens to make best use of space. Insights can now be scoped down to a specific Package of interest.
Continuum: Version Control
We’ve continued to improve our Version Control support, adding new VCS’s to our integration list. Bitbucket 5.4 introduced native web hooks, and Continuum now recognizes that new format for submissions. Additionally, Continuum can now accept change submissions from Gerrit, via a new Gerrit hook.
Platform
Bulk API Endpoint
Using the bulk API endpoint payloads support bulk operations with alias support. For example if a story template contains [New Version Control] in the story, the tasks and the tests. Using the bulk endpoint a user can update all those places in one API call to say "The Actual Name."
