Viewing and Editing Your Member Account Details

This feature is available in all editions.

This article provides instructions on how to view and update your member (or user) account details.

Here, you can manage all the specifics of a member's profile, including editing member details, viewing change history, and managing applications. You can also see the stories/defects owned, the project membership, member groups, and any attachments and links.

How to View Your Member Details 

  1. Select your username in the top right corner of any page.

  2. In the Member Details window, make your changes as appropriate (see field descriptions), and then click Save.

How to Edit Your Member Details

  1. Select your username in the top right corner of any page.

  2. Click the Edit button to open the Member details window.

  3. In the Member Details window, choose any of the following options, and then click Save.

Member Details Options

If you want to... Then...

View member details

Click the Details tab.

Edit member details

Click the Edit tab. See Editing Member Details.

View a member's change history

Click the History tab. See History.

Inactivate a member 
(Administrators only)

Select the Edit tab, and then click Inactivate. See Inactivating a member.

Delete a member
​(Administrators only)

Select the Edit tab, and then click Delete. See Deleting a member.

Make an Ideas Administrator ​(Administrators only)

Select the Edit tab, and then click Make an Ideas Administrator. See Administration and Management.

Manage applications

Click on the Applications tab.

Follow a member

Select the Edit tab, and then click Follow. You will then be able to track the member's activities in Conversations.

View Relationships

Click on any relationship link (Owned Stories, Project Membership, etc.) to see the list of items associated with the member.

Note that only workitems within active sprints display. Historical data can be obtained from a Report.
