Filtering the Project Timeline

This feature is available in Ultimate edition only.

Overview

Using filters, follow these steps to narrow or expand the focus of the data that displays on the project timeline.

How To

  1. From the main menu, select Product Planning > Project Timeline.

  2. Select a project from the Project Navigator, and then click the Filter button.

  3. Choose your filter options (see Filters below), and then click Apply Filters.

Description

Owner

The grid display is restricted to parent and child projects owned by the selected owner.

Status

The grid display is restricted to only items in the current view that are in the selected status. For example, you could look at only projects having a 'Ready to Deploy' or 'Testing' status.

My Filters

Allows you do select from your custom filters.

Find

Search for keywords or terms.

Show Closed Items

Includes closed projects in the timeline.

To remove a filter, click the delete button next to it. To remove all filters simultaneously and return to the default view, click Clear All Filters.
