Testing in VersionOne
This feature is available in Ultimate edition only.
Overview
VersionOne (Ultimate Edition only) supports both Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing. Refer to the following articles to learn how to integrate them into your process.
- Acceptance Tests
- Acceptance Tests represent acceptance criteria and are typically created during the Product Planning phase, and then further refined during Sprint/Iteration Planning. Acceptance tests are called "tests" and define the required behavior of a completed item. Tests can be added to any of the following items: stories, defects, portfolio items, test sets, story templates, and defect templates.

- Test Sets
- Test Sets are primary workitems (similar to story/backlog item or defect) that contain all the regression tests in a test suite. After you have added regression tests to a test suite, you can then create a test set that can then be scheduled to a release or sprint. Tests sets are created by default within the same project as the regression plan. You can move test sets to another (e.g., lower level) project if appropriate for work tracking purposes.
