Using Grids

This feature is available in all editions.

Grids form the basis of most page views in VersionOne. They are customizable lists of data that can be filtered, sorted, and edited directly within the view.

The default view shows the most commonly used data. If you want to see more or less details, you can customize the view to show different columns, make some of them editable, change the item sort order, or filter the results to show specific types of items.

Unless specifically called out in the title or column description, metrics shown in grids are filtered based on the global context filter (aka project or planning level filter).  For most assets in VersionOne this is not an issue; however for assets with associations that can span the planning level hierarchy, this may cause some columns to present different values that what you see on the asset details page (because details pages do not consider the planning level hierarchy.
