Creating a New Team on the Team Scheduling Page

This feature is available in Enterprise and Ultimate editions.



Follow these steps to create a new team on the Team Scheduling page.


  1. Go to Release > Planning > Team Scheduling.

  2. Click Add Team in the All Teams section of the page.

  3. Enter the team name in the Title field.

  4. (Optional) If doing Release Capacity Planning, enter the team's Target Velocity, which is the targeted amount of work (backlog items) a development team can complete within a sprint/iteration. It is calculated based on the amount of work the team has completed during previous sprints. The duration of the velocity is in number of days, weeks, or months.

  5. Click Save to save the new team and return to the Team Scheduling page.
