Viewing a List of Members With Allocated Work

This feature is available in all editions.

Sometimes, many members are assigned to a project but only a subset of those members actually perform work on the project. The other members are assigned just to have the visibility. In these cases, the list of members can get quite long.

To see members who have work allocated to them, go to the On the Member Planning or Member Tracking pages, and choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Sort by Detail Estimate

Click on the Detail Estimate column to sort by detail estimate (click twice to view it in descending order). That moves all members with work assignments up to the top of the list and those without work assignments move to the bottom.

Option 2: ​Filter by Show Current Owners

You can also filter by Show Current Owners. The list will display only members that are assigned as owners on stories, tasks, or tests.

If a member's name does not display in the Members grid, make sure their Project Role has write access to the project and the Owner List checkbox is selected.

  1. Go to Administration > Members > Project Roles.

  2. Click the Manage button next to the member's name.

  3. Select the project role, and then select the check box next to the New Project Role/Owner List.
